My Ticket ^^

Today went to Ampang Point Shopping Centre to grab formula Drift ticket. I think it should be the first drifting event held in Malaysia. I should not miss the shows, as many drifters from around the world come over here to compete with malaysian drifters. Hopefully, i should be able to enjoy and experiences the excitement of drifting. For your information, i am still amateur in drifting and hopefully can learn more few skills and take advices from those pro drifters. I can't wait anymore.... ahhhhhh.... haha.

Today afternoon went KLCC to grab two things.
1. SD Memory Card 8GB for my new camera Canon IXUS 110IS (2GB is insufficient la.. ) haha.
2. A Headphone for my brother. Audio-Technica ATH-AD300

I guess the memory that i brought should be cheaper than other because i buy from Kok Seng. Next, move to the headphone that i brought,

The Box

The sound is good, comfortable for ears and easy to put it on. First time ever buy this product. Hopefully it should serve me well. Hehehe.

The next things that caught my attention is the DELL latest Alienware M17x extreme laptop. Already tried the laptop as well as desktop. The performance for both platforms is superb. What makes it so special is that stupid alien head. HAHA. The cooling system for laptop is brilliant although it switch on for whole day. Not like mine laptop DELL STUDIO after opening for a while the palm rest hot like cooking pan. The price for that laptop is around 5000+ and for desktop is 12000+.

That time, i also saw many of my friends working there, Toh wai, huan yong, mok and others. Felt regret while i am enjoying my holiday but they working so hard. Haiz...

First time blogging in UMP library. This is because my TITAS lecturer didn.t show up so we decide to leave the class. This week, i will be visiting a factory in Pekan, Pahang called HICOM. Then, i will go Tasik Chini school to doing TITAS project. during weekend, i will also attend briged siswa. I still not know which place i go yet. But hopefully we dun go sungai pahang because i heard from my housemate said that rumor have crocodile in it. So wish me luck them... TT

I believe not everyone knows where I study after graduated from form six. Now I will tell you that I been chosen to enter UMP aka (University Malaysia Pahang ). This is my first choice in UPU and with my terrible results I thought I can’t enter any local university, but I still make it. Thank God. Maybe UMP admission requirement is rather low compare to others local universities. Someone also said I am stupid because I put UMP as my first choice. Hmm… What do you think? Am I stupid putting UMP as my first choice? The course that I am pursuing is Project Management. This course is still fresh in UMP and I am the second batch of this course. There are few new courses offer in UMP which Industrial Chemistry, Biotechnology, Occupational Safety and Health and Industrial Technology Management.

Maybe someone would ask why I would choose art stream based course rather than science stream based course? Well, that only reason is I felt that I am interested in doing art stream based course is because I am interested something in management stuff and a little bit of influences from family. Therefore, I decide to try my luck to get any art stream course in local university. So far from the beginning is still ok for me to take this course. I still able to follow up what lecturer said. The lecturer here are very kind and helpful, while the students here also very warmth and generous. After 8 weeks at UMP I felt I am getting used to the environment around here especially foods, hostel and the learning environment.

The work opportunity for my course is whether I be a project manager that responsibility of planning, execution, closing of any project, or being managed by higher project manager or start A biz with my own entrepreneurship? Will I achieve it or not? We will know it in future. Hehe. Hopefully I am able to achieve what I am aiming for.

I would like to thanks my senior Huoy Ying who always helping me all the time. She really help me a lot such as reserving a place for me for car-pooling, lending me some of her previous semester notes. I am really glad that she really help me a lot. I hope I could help her in future or whenever she needs my help. My coursemate such as group assignments in mathematics, OSH, Management, TITAS and M. studies they are really co-operating and dedicating in accomplish any assignments. Thanks all. My housemate, Phooi Keat, Jun Lun,Zephar, Yew Chong, Shang Qian, YongTat and Chew Seng. They treat me really well and helping me whenever I needs their help. I hope we still be housemate in future.

Today went to PWTC Education Fair. Sadly the exhibition did not started yet. I double checked at PWTC website for secure purposes. It said from 12 dec to 14 dec. However i reach there it said different story again. It start from 13 dec to 14 dec. At least, i had a wonderful lunch with my friends at The Chicken Rice Shop in The Mall and windows shopping with them. Sorry friends.

Cant wait for tomorrow PC Fair. I am going to upgrade my rig. Will post my new rig specification after PC Fair.

Today is my first day second semester in SMJK Chong Hwa. Nothing change much but there is a minor change in school system. Pn Linet is replacing Pn Lau position as co-curiculum advisor regarding to the promotion of Pn Lau to headmaster. Meanwhile, Pn Tan Leng Leng has become Ketua Panitia for science and Pn Yap is replacing Pn Tan position as discipline advisor. Most importantly, Pn Yap is set a benchmark for male appearance. She said boy haircut must not below the ear. ??? What she is talking about? Could you imagine that if your haircut is not below your ear.

I am back to blogging. Thank to our local ISP (Internet Service Provider) spending around four months to fix my connection. What i do is just translocation which mean transfer my internet connection to my new home. I never thought they need that much time to do it. I am so frustrated life without computer. However, it cultivate me to study. HAHA... I am very very very disappointing to our local ISP. How they going to improve if their service if they still work in low efficiency?

Vista Dilemma... using Xp again

So happy i can move to new operating system which is windows vista. This is because i can find the sound driver which support for vista and i can hear the sound via vista OS. Feeling so good. However the vista require activation code. i had found the activation crack for vista almost a weeks. but it still cannot bypass the activation code. Some other method i had tried but i still can't get it right. Therefore, i had no choice change back to Xp.

I had been vomit and stomachache for few hours without stopped.This happen in the morning.When i wake up , i feel that my tummy was not very comfortable so i went to toilet to settle some "Business Transactions".After that i getting started to vomit and my body feel so weak. I inform my mother about this and she bring me to clinic for consultation.Luckily is not very serious food poisoning. I wonder why i have food poisoning since i ate my dinner last night with all my family... so curious about this..???

Sorry for not updating my blog again...This is because the stupid streamyx technician need at least one months to fixed my connection problem.Holy crap... One months unable to online... So i tried to call to customer service and see whether they really fixed my internet. everyday i will always ask them same questions and i listen to same answer. "sorry sir, you need to be patient because our technician is tried their best to fixed for you ."Holy F***......damn long.... Some they just hang up my call when they heard my voice...hahaha... This makes me more mad and i am going to killed that person if i knew who he is. I hope that the Tmnet need to have improvement on customer service.See how they serve their customer .For instances like me... maybe i am unlucky in that particular moths...haha anyway i am going to updating my blog from time to time...

Genting Trips

Sorry for not updating my blog quite a long time. Recently, I got biology practical to do and playing RO until i forgot that i need to blog. hahaha...To catching insects. Our class decided to go Genting Highlands for two days to catch insects there. All of us gathered at Terminal Putra and went to Genting by bus.The bus is arrived at terminal bus around 8 a.m. and we need to took cable car to genting and reached there around 9a.m.

After we reached there, we find our apartment to put our backpack inside before we go to catch any insects. but unfortunately,we lost.... we lost in genting and we walked and walked until we get lost and also raining at that time.... haha....But luckily we managed to find the route towards the apartment.After Mr Lam get the key to the apartment, then all of us going to our apartment. but unfortunately again, someone had broken the key while she tried to open... then I followed toh wai to find the person who incharge to replaced the key. We left our backpack at apartment and all of us bring net and container to began the journey of catching insects.

While we going to catch insects, the rain started to rain heavily and windy in genting. It is very very cold. its similar trapped yourself inside a refrigerator. It's so cold and all of us are shivering including me.Although is very cold but we never give up to catching insects. WengFoo groups catch a lots insects in that time. All insects are catch by their group. then how about us? haha... We catch until evening and send those who are going back earlier. Then we going back to our apartment to rest... We rest until night around 11.00 p.m. , we going out to search insects again... Our senior said before carpark in genting got insects appear during night time. Therefore all of us going there to search insects... We had found and catch many types of insects there. Moreover,we searched for insects from first basement until the ground basement.It's total eight basement. So tired, my legs almost tingle and also windy at that time. We catch the insects until midnight around 3-4 a.m. and we go back to our apartment to have a good night sleep.

The next day we going to catch insects again.Ee , Mr Lam and me had breakfast before catching insects haha...It is not as many compare to yesterday. but we managed to get as many insects as we could. We all back to our house respectively after we arived at terminal putra. This genting trips is fun and I wished that someone would organise these again. haha....

To choose between all the malaysian car maker such as proton, perodua. I would choose Perodua Myvi. This particular car that catch my eyes on it when it launch in 2005.It look gorgeous from exterior to interior, nice small compact car,5 door with hatchback,1300cc displacement,DOHC DVVT ,16 valve,K3VE similar to Perodua Kembara engine.This car also got the asean automotive award 2007 Best car of the year in malaysia.Suitable for the people like me... hehe...Below is the picture of the car...

Today, i am very happy and anxious about what she gave me this afternoon. When she came to my house and bring a small packet to my house.I wonder what inside, then she told me is for me.I am so surprised. She gave me a chocolate that she made by herself. I am so touch... T.T Actually she want to give me after my exam is over.However, she decided to give me earlier because i always frustrating about studies and she know i am not doing well in this final exam. She thought making chocolate for me would makes me more happy.I really appreciate it. Thanks dear...

Today , another sad story happens to me again. Recently i just had my monthy test for physical chemistry. I tried my best to read as much as i could, but in the end the results still the same. I FAIL the test. OK? Maybe i am not enough understanding? or not enough hardworking? or not enough determination? or my lazyness? I really do not know how to express my feeling at who. Tomorrow, i am going to the Perhimpunan Perpaduan Dan Intergrasi Pemimpin Murid Peringkat Kebangsaan 2007. Therefore, i will not update my blog for one week. I have been prepared my luggage,everything that i needed to bring. Toh Wai and me are decided to take STAR LRT from Sentul to Pandan Jaya and taking cab towards the school.The school that we need to go is SMK Seri Bintang in Taman Shamelin.Never been that school before , but i have see the school in website.Wish me good luck all the way. Morning, wake up around 6.20a.m. to prepare myself.I arrived at school around 7.00 a.m.I am sitting at the bench watching others six formers' playing badminton and basketball while waiting for some real man real stuff which i am waiting for a week,Paintball.It is quite interesting game, but the duration of the game and compare to the price, it quite expensive.Before we enter the battle field, we have to listening from the instructor explain briefly how to play the games, holding the gun,rules,and the most important our safety.After listening those stupid rules,we wear our kelver helmet and chest-protection on it and holding the gun to have a battle with our enemy.Our enemy is our senior [upper six]. When the game is started, quite exciting and challenging.I tried my best to shoot the enemy and yet i not shoot by others because i keep hiding while shooting.The game is ended approximately 10 minutes after the games started.The victory is taken by upper six.Although our team had lost, however i learnt something there which i think is Team Work.We leave that place around 12.30 p.m and arrived at school at 1.10p.m.

Three days more,school holiday is begin.I think everyone will fully utilize this weekend to finish their revision or accomplish their undone homeworks.In this three day,i am hoping that i can finish at least 50% of my homework,especially maths exercise and notes for chemistry.Today maths assessment let me down again.I still obtain horrible marks.[Not willing to share my marks] Then, I am joining a camp with Mr Lam.It called [Perhimpunan Perpaduan Dan Intergrasi Pemimpin Murid Peringkat Kebangsaan 2007] from 20 to 26 august 2007. Therefore,i cannot enjoy my holiday at all !!! The next things that i am worrying is my final exam.19 till 26 september. What The F***!!! My chemistry teacher is not teaching us almost three months and yet exam is coming.I almost forgot everything that she taught.Oh Gosh!!! For biology, so far so good although her english not so good but she trying to make us understand the facts. PA and maths just need to read a lot and do more exercises.The last subject is MUET the teacher i love the most, i love her lessons. Sometimes she will share her experiences during her lessons.The most i admire her is she willing to use her money to buy some expensive references book from to teach us.I am hoping that i can really learn from her.So,good luck to all my friend. Usually how i spend my leisure time, Computer!!!! or i will sit down in my living room to watch tv. My favourite show Discovery Real Time.All about automotive, and so on.Recently, i found some interesting anime which i think would share with you all. It called Fate/Stay Night. I saw from Animax in astro.This anime catch my eye on it. The story is about a girl who protect his master.I am not sure its story,but after i finish watching i will express my feeling here.Another things which catch my ear is the opening and ending song which sing by Jyukai. So... So...So... nice,smooth and lovely. So, if have time, tune in channel 25 to watch Fate/Stay Night Yeah.......^^

After take a cool bath,feels very LONELY...and yet frustrated about my academic stuff. I find that i could not follow my maths teacher pace. I do not know why, some kind of feeling that i can't follow her pace.I feels that she teach so far so good. One of my friend Toh Wai said that the teacher is teach slowly and always repeating. I think that he is good in his maths and also his other subjects. My general studies exam was not so well. I always come late to class, all thanks to newspapers. Techniques for inducing drift

The basic driving techniques used in drifting are constant, though each car and driver will employ some subset of these techniques. They include:

Beginner techniques

These techniques don't use weight transition, so are typically the first thing the novice drifter learns.However they are still used by the most experienced drifters, and require skill to execute properly. These techniques aim to induce a loss of traction on the rear wheels, either by locking the wheel (e-brake drift), or using enough power from the engine to break the traction force (power-oversteer and clutch kick).

Hand-brake or Emergency brake drift - While the clutch is depressed, the hand-brake is pulled to induce rear traction loss. As soon as traction is lost, the driver releases the clutch, depresses the accelerator, and countersteers. This technique is used heavily in drift competitions to drift large corners, or to trim the car's line mid-drift.

Power oversteer or Powerslide - Often reffered to by enthusiasts as "Drifting - Lite" It is usually done at the corner exit by stepping on the gas hard, to slide side ways out of the corner. It is most commonly employed by beginners because it teaches steering and throttle control without the danger of an actual entry oriented drift.
Shift lock (compression slide) - Initiated by downshifting (usually from third to second or fourth to third, and using a very fast shift) instead of braking, without rev-matching, causing the drive wheels to lock momentarily. Helpful for very tight corners, allowing the driver to approach the corner at a slower speed and lower revs, while allowing quick acceleration when exiting the corner. This technique can be very damaging to the engine if mis-used as the ECU is unable to rev limit when the engine is oversped by the rear wheels. Premature downshifters are called "Rod Stretchers".

Clutch kick - This is done by "kicking" the clutch (pushing in, then out, usually more than one time in a drift for adjustment in a very fast manner) to send a shock through the powertrain, upsetting the car's balance. This causes the rear wheels to slip. The foot should be at an angle so the brake and gas may be pressed as well, this being needed to control speed and stop from spinning out in the drift.

Weight transition techniques

These techniques employ a further concept of weight transition. When a vehicle has the load towards the front, the back wheels have less grip than the front, causing an oversteer condition that can initiate a drift.

Braking Drift - This drift is performed by braking into a corner, so that the car can transfer weight to the front. This is immediately followed by throttle in a RWD car causes the rear wheels to lose traction. FWD cars can also use this technique as it does not depend on the rear wheels being driven.

Inertia (Feint) drift, or Scandinavian flick- This is done by transferring the weight of car towards the outside of a turn by first turning away from the turn and then quickly turning back using the inertia of the rear of the car to swing into the desired drifting line. Sometimes the hand-brake will be applied while transferring the weight of the car towards the outside to lock the rear wheels and help the rear swing outwards. This type of drifting causes the car to accelerate faster afterwards, because of momentum built up while drifting.

Kansei, Lift off, or Taking In - By letting off the accelerator while cornering at very high speeds, cars with relatively neutral handling will begin to slide, simply from the weight transfer resulting from engine braking. The drift is controlled afterwards by steering inputs from the driver and light pedal work, similar to the Braking drift.

Other techniques

Dirt drop - This is done by dropping the rear tires off the sealed road onto dirt, or whatever low-grip surface borders the road, to maintain or gain drift angle. Also colloquially called "Dirt Turbo".

Choku-Dori - This is done by swaying the car's weight back and forth on straightaways, using countersteer and throttle to maintain a large angle. This is a show maneuver that usually involves many cars following the same line.

Keiichi Tsuchiya began racing at a young age as most great drivers do. As he was learning to drive he began experimenting with the side brake or E-brake lever. Sliding the back end of the car out and counter steering was fun and taught him the basics of car control. Unlike many great racecar drivers he did not go to a racing school or have a rich family that was into the racing scene that could nurture his racing talents. He just had the basic passion to drive. Driving through local mountain roads he began to build a sense of where a car needs to be at each turn to achieve maximum speed through a corner. This not being a safe and smart way of learning to race he never the less learned much from running (Touge) mountain pass roads. From time to time he found himself off a cliff with his KPGC10 Skyline or against the side of a wall. Having snow in the wintertime further trained him to drive well on loose surface conditions enhancing again his car control skill. The more he drove on these roads and conditions of various road surfaces he began to get comfortable with sliding the car through a corner. He started to drift not because it was a quicker way around a corner but it was the most exciting way.

Enter the Drift King. Drifting a car through a corner is not the fastest way around most turns any racecar driver will tell you strait out. This is where Keiichi Tsuchiya was crowned the Dori Kin or Drift King. In Option drift contests; style and technique are evaluated for exhibition values. Lately contests have been judged on racing lines and setup for multiple corner drifting, this is more difficult. Back in 1977 Keiichi began his racing career driving many different cars in amateur racing series events. Racing these underpowered cars was difficult but again a great learning experience. Later Keiichi was picked up to drive the ADVAN sponsored AE86/1984 Corolla GT-S. During many races on a downhill corner he would drift the car and carry a better corner speed than his competitors. This technique is what made him the Drift King not as most believe that he was first in the drift scene. As he proved his style of driving his reputation grew. He is a racecar driver now and still takes to the mountains for illegal racing this also made his reputation grow. After videos featuring him and his persistent mountain running/Drifting his driver’s license was suspended! For a professional racecar driver this was embarrassing. Unknowingly this worked to his advantage, his fan base and fame began to expand. You could say that he is a rebel of some sort or because he was just a person who went from nowhere to success out of determination with no racing background. He still has a bond for an old car that he grew up racing, drifting, and winning with, the Toyota AE86. You can see this by his video series dedicated to this car that is called AE86 Club. Toyota itself also felt that he is the person to represent the car most and presented him a restored AE86 through TRD.
